Cooking Channel To Spotlight Local Food Truck

The unique cuisine of South Louisiana has once again caught national attention. The Cooking Channel will be in Lafayette Saturday, Nov. 9th to shoot a segment for "Eat Street." The segment will feature the unique creations of Viva La Waffle. The local food truck is an official food vendor for Downtown Alive, and has quickly become an Acadiana favorite.

'Eat Street' will be shooting in Parc Putnam, downtown Lafayette, from noon - 2pm. They're hoping for a large turnout and want to interview local people. There will also be a sign-up sheet for a screening party when the episode airs. The weather is going to be perfect!
