One of the people indicted in the Carencro stip club case has indicated in court filings that he will be changing his plea.

There was a federal investigation into drug dealing and prostitution at the Carencro strip club, Desperado's.

Elias White who used to work at the club along with nine other people were charged in a May 8 indictment that alleged customers had sex in the club's VIP room.

The owner of the club James Panos has also been indicted in the case, and there are allegations of drug sales on the premises.

A grand jury has charged seven defendants with one count each of conspiracy to maintain a drug-involved premises.

White, who is 52, is facing the conspiracy charge.

On August 8, White is expected to change his plea before U.S. District Judge Elizabeth Foote.

The trial starts on December 9 of this year.
