Former Director Of LHA And OHA Admits To Federal Bribery And Wire Fraud Charges
Walter Guillory, the former director of the Lafayette Housing Authority and the Opelousas Housing Authority, has pled guilty to both counts.
According to our news partners at KATC, Guillory was indicted in December of 2013 on federal bribery and wire fraud charges. He got more than $100,000 in exchange for work contracts, according to prosecutors. He's also accused falsifying bid documents.
Guillory's sentencing is scheduled for June 11, 2014.
