Former Employee Of St. Landry Truck Stop Casino Arrested In Theft Case

33-year-old Tabitha Michelle McKee of Pineville has been arrested for allegedly stealing about $68,000.00 from a truck stop casino where she worked.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says it began when investigators got a complaint that the money was missing from the casino vault. Sheriff Guidroz are not releasing the name of the truck stop that McKee allegedly stole from.

McKee faces 6 counts of monetary instrument abuse and 6 counts of theft of currency. She now sits in the St. Landry Parish jail on a $60,000 bond.
