Former La. Public Safety Employee Sentenced For Possessing Child Porn

A former state employee has been sentenced for getting caught with child pornography on a computer in his home. Renga Selvaratnam of Baton Rouge worked in the Public Safety department. He admitted to downloading the images, some of which were of children under the age of 12. 600 images in all were found on his computer. In a plea agreement, he got five years and four months in federal prison.
