The former head of the Governor's Program on Abstinence has been sentenced for two counts of mail fraud. Gail Dignam of Diamondhead, Mississippi, was sentenced yesterday after being convicted last October.

The U.S. Attorney's Office say Dignam diverted thousands of public dollars to bank accounts she and other members of her family controlled in Louisiana and Utah. She was sentenced to 70 months in prison.
