ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) — A former office manager at the closed Alexandria Pathology Laboratory has pleaded guilty to one federal count of interstate wire transfer in an embezzlement scheme that prosecutors say netted the Alexandria woman at least $350,000 over a period of years.

The Town Talk reports (http://townta.lk/L2xntT ) Linda Deselle faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000. She also must pay restitution to the theft victims.

Sentencing is set for Sept. 5.

A grand jury in November delivered at 10-count indictment against Deselle that charged her with wire fraud.

On Monday, Deselle pleaded guilty to one of the charges.
