Last year Cole Kelley's season with the University of Arkansas Razorbacks ended with him on suspension following some off the field indiscretions. This year Kelley will start the season as the first-team signal caller for the Razorbacks. I think it's safe to say Kelley did a lot of growing up over the past few months.

Kelley, a Teurlings High School standout was named the starting quarterback for the Hogs by first-year head coach Chad Morris. Many pundits had Kelley and Ty Storey in a neck and neck battle to win the position. Coach Morris did say that both young men will see playing time Saturday when Arkansas opens play against Eastern Illinois.

Kelley is no stranger to the starting position, last year under former coach Brett Bielema, Kelley started four games. However, Kelley's arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated last November caused him to miss the last game of last season.

Kelley and his Arkansas teammates have their work cut out for them. The Razorbacks are picked to finish at or near the bottom of the SEC West. That division is also home to LSU, Alabama, Mississippi State, and Auburn.
