Bryant Mbamalu, who played for Louisiana for four years, from the 2010-2011 season through the 2013-2014 campaign, is a guard for Club Deportivo Valdivia, of Liga Nacionale  de Básquetbol de Chile, the top professional basketball league in Chile, where he has played the last couple of seasons.

A native of Houston, Texas, and a graduate of Dulles High School, Mbamalu scored 1,077 points in his collegiate career, one of only 48 players in UL basketball history to eclipse 1,000 points, despite missing significant time his senior season with an injury.
