The 83-year-old Lake Charles resident named John LeBleu was killed during the robbery of his apartment on Thursday.

According to the police, the people behind the robbery were also residents of the apartment complex. John J. Landry III was booked with first-degree murder and simple robbery.

The other three people arrested were women, including Landry's mother and sister. They were taken in on charges of being accessories after the fact.

According to a neighbor, LeBleu was a WWII veteran and well liked by his neighbors. He was found after someone asked the apartment complex to check on him.
