As someone who spends a lot of time living in the hour of four am I can tell you. It's the one hour of the day when the world appears to be at peace with itself. Four AM still holds a lure of mystery and romance. Exciting and exotic things happen at four in the morning. It's not still the night before yet it's not quite the breaking of the new day.

If you happen to be awake at four in the morning I invite you to step outside of your home. Listen to the quiet. There is a stillness that is only punctuated by your breathing. There is no traffic and even the joggers are still asleep.
