Four teenagers, ages 15, 14, 14 and 13 have been booked into the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center after a victim was robbed in the 100 block of Polk Street early Thursday morning, according to Lafayette Police.

According to the victim, he was approached by the boys when one of them took out a handgun and demanded his cell phone and his wallet, which he gave to him. After the suspects left, the victim went to a local business and called 911.

The suspects were later caught in the area by police. Two of them were arrested for Principal to Armed Robbery and two were arrested for Armed Robbery.

The handgun was recovered by police. The property was returned back to the owner, who did not suffer any injuries.
