Fourth Of July Waste Collection Schedule

As the Fourth of July holiday approaches, Lafayette Consolidated Government is announcing that there will be no changes to the waste collection schedule.

"Residents who have residential garbage or recycling collection on Friday should place their waste containers at the curb on Thursday evening for collection on Friday," says Cydra Wingerter, Assistant to City-Parish President Joey Durel.

However, the LCG Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Road will be closed on Friday and throughout the Fourth of July weekend and will reopen on Monday at 7:00 a.m.
