Fourth Suspect Arrested In New Iberia Shooting

NEW IBERIA, La. (KPEL) -- A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting Monday that sent three people to the hospital.

23-year-old Kenray Ledet was arrested Thursday on three counts of principal to attempted second degree murder, according to Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal.

"I will not allow criminals to commit random acts of violence in this community," Ackal said.

The shooting happened at the intersection of Anderson and Rene Streets, where police said a large group of people were gathered in the street.
