He loves to write and cover the news, but he is also a great story teller.  Fox News Radio's Todd Starnes is coming to Lafayette to help KPEL celebrate Bosses' Appreciation Night.

Todd Starnes, born in Mississippi and schooled in New Orleans, brings a unique perspective to every story he reports on.  Starnes is excellent in finding the wilder side of the news, and stories that just fire up conservatives.

Starnes will be joining the KPEL News/Talk team members to honor twenty bosses in the Acadiana area for Bosses' Appreciation Night.  Workers from throughout of Acadiana can nominate their boss to join us on that night.  If selected, the nominator and their spouse, along with the boss and their spouse, will be treated to a night of delicious food at the Petroleum Club featuring Starnes as the guest speaker.

Starnes will no doubt share stories of his career along with his story of learning several years ago that without surgery, he would die.  He changed his life, and wrote down his experiences in the book, "They Popped My Hood & Found Gravy On My Dipstick!".  He plans to also share stories from his new book, "Bitter Dispatches From  America", due to hit bookshelves in February 2012.
