Franklin Man Arrested On Sexting Charges With Teen

28-year-old Kevin LaShawn James is accused of sexting with a 16-year-old girl.

According to our news partners at KATC, Franklin Police found the sexually explicit text messages on James' phone. Officers also say James made contact with the girl on Facebook.

James is in the St. Mary Parish Jail on a $50,000.00 bond. He faces one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of computer aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes.
