Vermilionville will hold their annual Creole Culture Day on Sunday, June 7th this year. From 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, you can learn all about creole culture and heritage with storytelling, exhibits, cooking demos, kids games and crafts, and a whole bunch more. The theme of this year's Creole Culture Day is "Fraternal Folklore', and the best part about this wonderful event is that it is FREE! Music will be provided by Leroy Thomas & the Zydeco Road Runners and the Lil Buck Sinegal Blues Band. There will also be free dance lessons, and film screenings throughout the day, so make plans to bring the family out for this special celebration!
