French Ambassador To Keynote ULL Commencement
The French Ambassador, Francois Delattre, will be the keynote speaker at today's graduation ceremonies at University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Delattre will also receive an honorary doctorate of francophones studies.
Today's commencement exercises will be held at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
Delattre has been the ambassador since 2011.
Before that time, Delattre was France's ambassador to Canada. He joined the French foreign ministry in 1989.
