NEW YORK (AP) — Tens of thousands of commuters traveling into and out of New York City are trying to find other ways to get to their destinations following a power failure on a busy railroad line that's brought service to a crawl.

Officials say a high-voltage feeder cable failed at a suburban New York station early Wednesday, and they're looking for an alternative power source to end hours-long delays that could last for weeks.
