LAPLACE, La. (AP) — Funerals will be held this week for the two St. John the Baptist Parish sheriff's deputies gunned down Thursday in LaPlace.

Two wounded deputies remained hospitalized Sunday. The hospitals say privacy rules keep them from releasing condition reports on Deputies Michael Scott Boyington and Jason Triche.

Visitation was scheduled Sunday night at New Wine Ministries for Deputy Jeremy Triche, whose funeral was scheduled Monday at St. Joan of Arc Church, with burial at St. John Memorial Gardens.

The sheriff's office says drivers in LaPlace should expect traffic delays between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday for his funeral procession.

Visitation for Deputy Brandon Nielsen was scheduled Tuesday evening at Lakelawn Funeral Home and Cemeteries in Metairie, where his funeral was scheduled Wednesday.
