Funeral Services Set For Lafayette Autism Advocate

Funeral services will be held Saturday for Lafayette native Vickie Nettles at the St. Landry Street location of Martin & Castille.

The autism advocate died early on Wednesday, August 6 at an area hospital.

The services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, and interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park.

Nettles was well-know employee and advocate for Autism Society of Acadiana.  She leaves behind her husband and several children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Vickie Nettles' name to the Autism Society of Acadiana at 3108 W. Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508.
