Gabriel And Evangeline To Marry At Zoo Ceremony

LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- Gabriel will end his lifetime of loneliness Sunday when he marries his bride, Evangeline. The two lovebirds will take their vows at the picturesque Zoo of Acadiana.

Gabriel and Evangeline are giraffes.

According to information from the zoo, "Gabriel and Evangeline will be officially pronounced 'husband and wife' at the Giraffe Habitat."

Zoo officials say, "Though tall, Evangline is no 'bridezilla'--she is calm and ready for the big weekend."
