Gas Leak Causes Daycare To Evacuate

About fifty daycare children had to be evacated from Mini Me daycare today on Verot School Road after a gas leak, for safety sake.
  Altron Trahan with the Lafayette Fire Department tells KPEL News the daycare kids were the only people who had to be evacuated. A 4-inch gas line was cracked while crews were doing work in that area.
  It took hazmat crews about three hours to fix the leak which was across the street from the daycare.
