Gas Prices are on the rise again. After several weeks of declining prices, the price for a gallon of gas has shot up between fifteen and twenty cents in less than a week.

Don Redman, fuel analyst for the American Automobile Association, says some of the price hike can be linked to a modest rise in the market price of a barrel of crude oil. Redman says the big jump in pump prices came after a sudden rise in the wholesale price of gas.

Redman believes this sudden rise  is tied to a jittery global gas market. He says, in his opinion, the market may be responding to a potential conflict between the US and Iran.
