Gay Marriage – Did It Hurt Obama’s Chances at Re-election?

So the President stepped out and said that he supports Gay Marriage and Mitt Romney said that he is against it.  Over the weekend, Newsweek proclaimed Obama the "first gay President."  The Washington Times had a story that quoted former Republican Presidential candidate Gary Bauer as saying,

I think the president this past week took six or seven states he carried in 2008 and put them in play with this one ill-conceived position that he’s taken

What do you think?  Is the President now vulnerable?  Will you cast your vote based on this issue for Romney or for Obama?
