Government Shutdown Moves Closer

WASHINGTON (AP) — Majority Leader Harry Reid says when the Senate convenes this afternoon, it'll reject an emergency spending bill from the Republican-led House that calls for a one-year delay in implementing parts of the health care law.

If no emergency spending bill is passed by Congress before midnight Monday, the government will go into a partial shutdown.
