Governor Announces CenturyLink Expansion

Governor Jindal has announced the planned expansion of Monroe-based CenturyLink, adding 800 new jobs over the next five years. Jindal says these are in addition to the 350 job expansion at CenturyLink announced in 2009. Jindal says CenturyLink is poised to be the top economic driver for northeast Louisiana, and among the top 10 economic drivers in the state.
