Governor Signs Redistricting Bills Into Law

Those redistricting bills approved in the just ended special legislative session are now law.  Governor Bobby Jindal affixed his signature to legislation yesterday that redraws the boundaries for legislative and congressional districts.   However, the new political boundaries have to be approved by the U.S. Department of Justice.
