Recent Grammy Award winner Wayne Toups visited 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' to discuss his win and upcoming appearance at 'Patty In The Park'.  From an informal get-together Toups said he, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy recorded a number of tracks that became The Band Courtbouillon which was nominated for a Grammy and eventually won.  According to Toups,

Usually I'm booked to play on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday but for some reason I was off on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I went to Los Angeles to at least have the experience of going to the Grammys once.  I took in everything from the pre-party, the Red Carpet, the Awards and after party.  It was what could be a once in a lifetime experience.

Preparing for this Saturday's Third Annual 'Patty In The Parc' shouldn't be too hard for Toups but his song choice might be.  Bernie asked Wayne what his favorite song on his playlist might be and he said,

Tough question.  I never get tired of playing any of them but I do have some favorites like Tupelo Honey, Take My Hand, That's What I love About My Baby and Please Explain so I guess you could say they're all my favorites.  I never tire of playing them and I'm sure you'll hear those and more this Saturday afternoon.
