Grand Isle Fire Victims Identified
GRAND ISLE, La. (AP) — Two people killed last week in an apartment fire in Grand Isle have been identified.
Mark Bone of the Jefferson Parish Coroner’s Office told The Times-Picayune 60-year-old Belle Brandl and 46-year-old Timothy Foret dead in the fire.
Grand Isle firefighters responded to the blaze Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. at the Willow Creek Apartments on La. Highway 1.
Investigators returned to Grand Isle Monday to conduct additional interviews.
Joe Greco, director of the East Bank Consolidated Fire Department, said the investigation into the blaze is continuing.
