21-year-old Christopher Goodley, accused in the homicide of his grandmother, 80-year-old Delcy Williams, has been rebooked on first-degree murder and simple burglary charges in the case.

An Evangeline parish official tells our news partners at KATC that Goodley is due in state district court for a hearing in January.

Goodley was arrested a week ago. He had been living with her after being released from Angola in October of 2013 after pleading guilty to felony theft and simple burglary in Evangeline Parish in April 2011.
