I was at lunch the other day with some friends, and I went into the men's public restroom and saw a "foot" handle on the bathroom door.

What an ingenious idea! I mean, come on, we've all seen "those" people: the ones who do NOT wash their hands after utilizing the public facilities (I like to point them out to friends when I come out of the restroom).

With this "foot" handle on the inside of the bathroom door, guests can wash their hands, dry them, and then not have to risk touching a surface that, by proxy, just touched "other" things (is the image clear in your mind?  Good!).

I think that this should be in all public facilities that don't use a latching door.
