Update: Both Green T. Lindon Elementary and Youngsville Middle School have been taken off of lockdown. However, authorities are still looking for Ashley Perkins.

Deputies will remain on both campuses through the remainder of the school day.

Perkins was wanted by Abbeville Police for traffic charges, and was a suspect in another traffic incident that occurred in the Lafayette City Limits.  She escaped from the police while still handcuffed wearing a green shirt and grey sweat pants.
