Gretna Man Arrested for Stealing Gaming System

St. Mary Parish Sheriff's officials say a Gretna man was arrested for a variety of charges after kicking in the door of home two times.

Deputies say 22-year-old Nicholas Turner knew his victim.

Tuner turned himself into deputies in Franklin and has been charged with the following:

1. Criminal damage to property
2. Two counts of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling
3. A warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding

Deputies say the burglaries happened at the same place at a home on Kemper Road, and Turner allegedly took a gaming system during one of the incidents.
