Our friends at Market Watch at the Wall Street Journal have compiled data that states that New York City is the 'Most Unhappy City' in American, and Lafayette, Louisiana comes in at number one as the 'Most Happy City'! Yay us! According to Market Watch 'Data was from a working paper by Harvard professor Edward Glaeser, Vancouver School of Economics professor Joshua Gottlieb and Harvard doctoral student Oren Ziv. Some of the information collected was from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey called the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, and then  it was adjusted for age, sex, race, income and other factors. By the way, Louisiana is also the happiest state - duh. Read the whole survey here, and don't forget to smile, Lafayette residents!
