There was already an ordinance allowing RV parks in Youngsville, but the council Thursday night decided on guidelines for those RV parks.

Some residents who live next to an upcoming RV project that was legal and already approved are not happy.  This RV park will only have a 150 foot buffer zone, while the new ordinances say any new RV parks will have to have a buffer of 300 feet.

Youngsville Mayor Ken Ritter says they couldn't not issue the permit to the RV park as there were no laws on the books to stop the issuance of a permit.

Youngsville Councilman Matt Romero spoke with Rob and Bernie this morning about the guidelines.
