The President has big plans on the gun control debate for tomorrow, with an announcement involving the President, Vice-President and a group of children surrounding them.  Jay Carney said that the announcement will include a package of gun control proposals including assault weapon bans, high capacity magazine bans and closing loopholes on background checks.  The move could also involve up to 19 executive orders.

Meanwhile, membership in the NRA has increased dramatically just in the last month.

Also, a recent Gallup poll indicates that there are several items more important than gun control on the minds of Americans.

What do you think?  Should we be looking at this now or should we look at other things?
