Gun Stolen From Unlocked Lafayette Car

Last night at 9:15 Lafayette City Police investigated a report of a stolen handgun. The gun was stolen from an unlocked car in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. Through area surveillance 17 year old Patrick Henderson of Lafayette was identified as a suspect in the theft. Henderson was located and arrested a short time later. The stolen handgun was not found.
