Guns Stolen From Church Point Home

A family needs your help after coming back to a broken-in house last weekend. The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says the family left their Church Point home at 1217 Highway 752 in the Swords community on Friday night on March 30. When they came back the next Saturday morning, they say someone had kicked in their door .

Once inside, police say the rooms were ransacked. Stolen was a browning 7mm mag automatic rifle, a Rossi 243 youth model single shot, crack barrel with a green plastic stock. The total value exceeds $2,000.
