Hammer Assualt Suspect Captured

A man sought after allegedly attacking his parents with a hammer early Monday is in custody.

Baton Rouge Police arrested Ray Smith early last night on charges that include aggravated second-degree battery.  His parents, both in their 60's, were treated at a local hospital.  Their house went up in flames about an hour after the assault.
