Handicapped Man Dead After Jennings Fire

There are very few details, but the State Fire Marshall's Office has reported a man is dead after a fire in Jennings.

Butch Browning's office reports that overnight two people were able to get out of the home, but the handicapped man, 55-year-old Kenneth Riggs, did not.

Browning said in a news release the fire occurred at 11:30 p.m. last night.

Browning says from what information they have gathered at this point, the fire started in a bedroom.
