The long-time Adjutant General of the Louisiana National Guard announces his retirement. Governor Bobby Jindal says Major General Bennett Landreneau will retire from the Guard after nearly 14 years serving as its head. Jindal also announced the appointment of Brigadier General Glenn Curtis to replace Landreneau. Curtis has served in the Louisiana Guard since 1984 and is the current director of the Joint Staff.
