Helicopter Crashes At Port Fourchon
A helicopter has crashed at Fourchon today according to our news partners at KATC, who have spoken to the airport manager.
The helicopter, a Sikorsky @76 went down during a hard landing around 8;30 this morning.
Federal officials say the helicopter was trying to lift off when the wind shifted, and it came back onto the ground.
There are no injuries to report, and the helicopter sustained damage to its landing gear.
