Help us Honor Acadiana’s Hometown Heroes

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a hero as, "one who shows great courage."

With that in mind, we would like to ask for your help honoring all of Acadiana's Hometown Heroes!

Do you know a man or woman who deserves to be honored for his or her service to our community? What about a local first responder or teacher who serves us day after day? Now is your chance to shine the spotlight on those individuals who deserve it more than the rest.

Now that you have someone in mind the rest is simple. Just give us a name and a few sentences about why you think this person deserves to be highlighted as one of Acadiana's Hometown Heroes and we'll do the rest. Oh, and don't forget a photo!
