Tuesday night, Narcotics agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office executed an arrest warrant on 22-year-old Jordan Ryder of Henderson.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Spokesman Ginny Higgins says in addition to being arrested on the warrant, Ryder was found to be in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine with a street value around $3,500.

Higgins says Ryder also had paraphernalia used to package and sell the drug.

Ryder was arrested for the following:

  • Possession of Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal carrying of firearms

Ryder was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
