Here’s The Meaning Behind #MeToo

Many are asking what's the meaning behind #MeToo or "Me Too" posted on Facebook.

The meaning behind the hashtag has to do with women coming out and acknowledging that they have been sexually harassed or assaulted.

Actress Alyssa Milano has been the driving force behind the social movement and thousands of women have come forth.  

The #MeToo hashtag has been used over 200,00 times and the numbers continue to grow.

This all comes after several actresses in Hollywood accused Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual abuse and sexual assault.

The former producer was recently fired from his production company, The Weinstein Company, and the Motion Picture Academy has ousted him following the allegations of abuse.
