More work will be required on highway 90 over the Atchafalaya River, but the work doesn't begin until next week.

Highway 90 will be reduced to one lane of traffic both eastbound and westbound  in Morgan City on the Morgan City Bridge over the Atchafalaya River.  This work will start at 9 o'clock at night Thursday February 16th and ending the following morning, Friday, February 17,  at 5:00 a.m.

Officers from the Morgan City Police Department will help with traffic controls.   No detour is necessary for this work.  The Department of Transportation and Development reminds drivers to be patient  and to drive with caution through the construction site.
