Hillary Clinton is headed for the door and history.  She is set to step down from her post as Secretary of State and give the job to Senator John Kerry, who will serve as head of the State Department in the second term for Barack Obama.  But is she retiring?  Not in her mind, which should set most conservatives on some sort of watch.

Hillary was talking with a reporter and was asked if she was headed for retirement.  Her response?

I don’t know that that’s the word I would use, but certainly stepping off the very fast track for a little while.

For a little while.  So does that mean that she is thinking about 2016 already?  Indeed, she would be the front runner for Democrats, in spite of what Vice President Biden would believe.  For Democrats, having a viable candidate to run at a time that people will be extremely tired of Barack Obama couldn't be more thrilling.  For Republicans, they shudder to think of what that race would look like.  Republicans aren't even united enough to decide what color to wear to work, let alone who to get behind for President in 4 years.  That feeling will not likely go away anytime soon.

Do I feel that Hillary will run again?  She has not indicated that she is terribly interested, but she has also not indicated that she is not.  Seems pretty familiar to the last time she decided to run for the highest office in the land.  She would always laugh the question off and not make mention of it again.  Still, the question remained and that is exactly the way she likes it.  She doesn't know if she wants to do it again, but then she likes the attention.

This should bring about panic and should be a warning to anyone that does not like the Clintons, the Obamas and Democrats in general.  It is time to stop with the division and unite to decide what is next.  Anything else would be massively unproductive.  Sadly, unproductive seems to be where we are headed.
