Hit And Run Suspect In St. Landry Parish Crash Still On The Loose

Deputies in St. Landry Parish need your help trying to solve a hit-and-run that happened nearly one month ago.

Captain Megan Vizena with the Sheriff's Office says it happened on Highway 190 in Eunice on March 10 when a white pick-up truck with an unknown logo on each side crossed the highway, failing to yield to oncoming traffic and causing the crash. Captain Vizena says the victim's vehicle t-boned the white truck causing extensive damage to both vehicles.

Captain Vizena says the white truck then tried to free his truck from the crash and sped off. The victim was not able to get a description of the driver.
