Hollywood Looking For More ‘Swamp People’

The History Channel's 'Swamp People' series is gearing up for season five with a casting call this weekend.  Kate Purcell and Olivia Stafford from The Casting Firm visited 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today and invited candidates to participate this Saturday.  According to Purcell,

A casting call is a way for anybody and everybody to come out to meet the casting director...This is a way to actually come out and sit down with us and look us in the eye and tell us why you should be on 'Swamp People'.

We ask Purcell exactly what the casting director would be looking for and she said,

We're looking gator hunters, we're looking for teams and if you have tags and a helper.  We're also looking for experienced gator hunters, family members and even groups.  We're looking for 'bigger than life' people, people who live off the land.

The casting call will be Saturday June 29, 2013 at Pat's Fisherman's Wharf on Henderson Road in Henderson, LA from  11:00am until 3:00pm.  For more information on the casting call you can visit thecastingfirm.com/swamppeople.
